ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL MASTERS, GRANDMASTERS, AND JUNIOR ATHLETES

Effective 2017, all athletes in the above-mentioned classes in ALL DISCIPLINES will have a two-show process for qualification to National events. This means that athletes will need to place top 5 at a Regional Event (Muscle Beach, Winter Open or Southerns ONLY) in order to compete in a Provincial level event that will be considered a National Qualifier for all Masters, Grandmasters, and Junior athletes. Due to the number of athletes already competing at the Provincial level, all Masters, Grandmasters, and Junior classes will progress from Regional events to Northerns, which will be Provincial level for these classes only.

So to confirm, if you are an athlete in Masters, Grandmasters, or Juniors classes that qualifies at a Regional event and wishes to compete at Provincials, your Provincials will actually be at the Northerns. If you intend on crossing over at a Provincial level to an open class, you will need to attend the Provincials show separately. A reduced registration fee will be applied for your open class at Provincials if you also competed as a Masters, Grandmasters, or Junior at Northerns.

Please see charts regarding tier system below for further clarification.
