COMPETING WITH OTHER FITNESS ORGANIZATIONS
Anyone who competes with the ABBA and qualifies for the next level/tier and then proceeds to compete in another organization after the fact, loses their qualification with the ABBA. The competitor must start again at Tier 1.

PRO STATUS WITH ANOTHER FITNESS ORGANIZATION
If you have attained pro status in any other fitness organization, you are NOT ELIBGIBLE to compete at any ABBA or CBBF event. The reason for this is that, if you are deemed a Professional athlete, you are not eligible to compete in an Amateur Organization such as ours. If you relinquish your pro status you will be eligible. You must relinquish your pro status, in writing, to both the fitness organization itself as well as the ABBA. If you purport to have relinquished your status and are found to have returned to compete as a Pro after having competed as an amateur with the ABBA, you will be banned, for life, from competing in any of the ABBA or CBBF events. If you compete with the ABBA as a Pro in another fitness organization, knowingly or unknowingly, you will be stripped of your placings and byes/qualifications.

Emails are to be directed to president@abba.ab.ca regarding this matter.
